UPM-Kymmene completes partial demerger; WISA Group to list on Nasdaq Helsinki

UPM-Kymmene Corporation finalized its partial demerger on October 31, 2026. The completion of the process was formally recorded in the Finnish Trade Register, following the demerger plan initially announced by the company in April 2026.

As a result of this transaction, WISA Group Plc has been established as a separate corporate entity. The company is now preparing for its listing on the Nasdaq Helsinki stock exchange. Under the terms of the demerger, assets and liabilities designated in the initial plan have been transferred to the new entity.

The demerger represents a strategic shift for UPM, aimed at restructuring its business operations. With the registration now complete, WISA Group is expected to move toward its public listing as an independent entity.
