UPM has received the highest possible Platinum recognition from sustainability assessment firm EcoVadis. This places the company within the top one percent of over 150,000 assessed companies globally. UPM has maintained this top-tier status since 2020 and achieved a score of 90/100 for the second consecutive year.

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates companies across four key areas: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. UPM's high rating reflects its sustained efforts and commitment to responsible business practices.

Furthermore, in May, UPM achieved an A score from CDP for its supplier engagement on climate actions. CDP is a global non-profit organization that urges companies and cities to disclose their environmental impacts. The A score signifies UPM's effective collaboration with its supply chain to mitigate climate change.

These recognitions underscore UPM's standing as a leader in sustainability within the forest industry, demonstrating its dedication to advancing environmental responsibility and supply chain resilience.
