US Army selects HAVIK for fires simulation training

The U.S. Army's Capability Program Executive Simulation, Training, Test and Threat (CPE ST3) office has finalized a contract to integrate HAVIK technology into its Soldier Virtual Trainer platform. The move is part of a broader push to modernize how soldiers train for complex combat environments.

HAVIK will provide the software capability required for high-fidelity fires simulation, allowing personnel to conduct virtual indirect fire drills. By shifting more training to virtual platforms, the Army intends to increase the frequency of exercises while managing logistical costs associated with live-fire training.

This contract marks a significant deployment for HAVIK within the military sector. The integration project is currently underway in Orlando, Florida, with the simulation tools expected to be phased into training rotations following validation.
