US Healthtech Firm Confido Health Raises $12.5 Million in Funding Extension

Confido Health, a US-based healthtech startup, has successfully raised an additional $12.5 million in an extension of its funding round. The investment was led by Z47, with participation from existing investors Together Fund and Blume Ventures. This brings the total capital raised in the current round to $22.5 million.

Founded in 2022, Confido Health develops AI agents designed to support healthcare providers. These agents automate administrative tasks associated with patient care, including managing calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, processing prescription refills, and handling payment follow-ups.

The company intends to use the new funding to expand its "CareOS" platform across multi-location healthcare organizations. Confido Health also plans to develop additional AI agents to address other workflows and medical specialties, aiming to improve operational efficiency in the healthcare sector.

Healthcare investor Justin Saks has joined Confido Health as an investor and board advisor, signaling continued confidence in the company's growth trajectory. Confido Health had previously raised $10 million last year and $3 million in seed funding the year prior.
