US judge dismisses sexual abuse lawsuit against OpenAI CEO Sam Altman
A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Ann Altman, who accused her brother, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, of childhood sexual abuse.

US District Judge Zachary Bluestone dismissed the lawsuit on Tuesday, citing the plaintiff's failure to comply with court proceedings. The case, originally filed by Ann Altman last year, alleged that her brother, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, had subjected her to sexual abuse during their childhood.
The court determined that the dismissal was necessary after the plaintiff failed to attend a court-ordered independent medical examination and missed several procedural deadlines. Judge Bluestone noted that the plaintiff had been warned that non-compliance would result in the case being thrown out.
When the allegations were first publicized last year, Sam Altman and other family members issued a joint statement denying the claims as entirely untrue. The dismissal marks the end of the current litigation regarding these accusations.
