US officials visit NABEP oil fields in Venezuela
United States officials inspected NABEP's operations at the Petrozamora oil fields as daily production hit a record 115,000 barrels.

Officials from the United States conducted a two-day site visit to NABEP’s oil extraction facilities in the Petrozamora region of Venezuela this week. The visit comes as the company reports a milestone in its operational output, reaching a record 115,000 barrels per day.
The increase in output is supported by the arrival of a sixth drilling rig, which has been deployed to enhance field activity. This hardware addition is central to NABEP’s current strategy to maximize throughput in the aging oil infrastructure.
The engagement between US representatives and the company highlights the ongoing complexities of energy diplomacy in the region. While technical efficiency has improved, the broader feasibility of sustained operations remains contingent on international policy shifts and regional stability.
