The U.S. Department of Defense released its fourth set of declassified documents related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs) on Tuesday, July 10. This latest batch adds 40 new files to the government's public repository of information on the phenomena.

The 40 documents include 14 written reports, 19 videos, four audio recordings, and three images. This release marks the fourth time the Pentagon has made such materials publicly available, following previous disclosures in May and June.

Among the newly released documents is an account from September 1, 2015, detailing a sighting near the Pantex nuclear facility in Texas. The object was described by a witness as diamond-shaped and rhomboid, with colors varying between black, silver, red, and blue, moving at an estimated speed of 10-15 miles per hour.

Another document from 2019 recounts an airspace intrusion incident observed by a pilot and four other individuals over the eastern United States. The pilot stated that in his 28 years of service in the Air Force and Navy, he had never witnessed similar flight characteristics. The object reportedly flew at high speed in an abrupt, linear direction before disappearing from view.
