Golden Gate University (GGU) has been named a 2026 Top Veteran School by U.S. Veterans Magazine. The recognition highlights the efforts of GGU's Helen Diller Center for Veterans of U.S. Military Service, which assists veterans from enrollment through career transitions.
This marks the second time GGU has received this designation from the magazine, following a previous recognition as a Top Veteran Friendly School. The university has a long history of serving veterans, dating back over a century to its founding after World War I.
GGU integrates artificial intelligence (AI) skills across all its programs, preparing veteran students for the contemporary job market. The university provides comprehensive support, including assistance with onboarding, VA benefits, academic coaching, and career preparation.
University President Brent White expressed pride in GGU's legacy of educating veterans and the recent acknowledgment. Jason T. Garcia, Director of Veterans Affairs, emphasized the university's mission to build upon veterans' existing skills and equip them for success in an AI-driven workforce.
