LOUISVILLE, Ky. – US WorldMeds announced it has received the 2026 Vision of Hope Award from the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA). The award was presented on October 6, 2026, at the Stand Up to Sarcoma Gala in New York City.

The SFA recognized US WorldMeds for its commitment to developing new treatment options for individuals with sarcoma. The foundation also highlighted the company's approach to embedding patient advocacy perspectives into its development and regulatory processes, calling it a model for industry and advocacy collaboration.

US WorldMeds acquired the treatment TECELRA® (afamitresgene autoleucel) in 2025. Since then, the company has focused on securing full FDA approval for the product while continuing to pursue new therapeutic avenues for sarcoma patients.

"Sarcoma remains an underfunded and underserved disease," said Breck Jones, Jr., President of US WorldMeds. He emphasized the importance of patient, survivor, and caregiver voices in shaping the company's work. Brandi Felser, CEO of the Sarcoma Foundation of America, stated that US WorldMeds' dedication to including the patient voice is forward-thinking and impactful.
