The University of South Florida (USF) Athletics and Tampa General Hospital (TGH) unveiled the Bulls football team's new uniforms on Monday. The jerseys prominently feature a Tampa General Hospital logo patch, marking a first in Florida collegiate athletics history. This move is part of a landmark, multi-year partnership that designates Tampa General as the first jersey patch sponsor in Florida college athletics.
The reveal was captured in a video showing a Tampa General Aeromed helicopter landing on the hospital's helipad. USF football players joined members of Tampa General's clinical team for the unveiling, symbolizing over 25 years of partnership between the organizations. Tampa General serves as the exclusive hospital-based healthcare provider for USF Athletics.
The team will debut the new uniforms on-field on September 5, 2026, when USF Football opens its season against Florida International University at Raymond James Stadium. The game is presented by Tampa General Hospital. Tampa General Hospital is Florida's premier academic health system, comprising a 1,530-bed network of hospital and outpatient services. It serves as the only Level I trauma and comprehensive burn care center for 23 counties in the region.
