In the video, captured at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the singer's face was partially obscured by a baseball cap and sunglasses. Fans noted that the individual's appearance and movements seemed different from Usher's typical stage presence. Sultan told TODAY.com that the "real Usher" sang for only about 40 seconds before exiting, and the subsequent performer moved in a way that caused confusion among the audience.
Usher directly addressed the rumors via a video posted on the tour's Instagram account. The accompanying text playfully questioned the accusations, stating, "They can’t clone this?" and "How ya’ll come up with this? AI ain’t that advanced."
Sultan's TikTok video has gained significant traction, with hundreds of thousands of views and numerous comments from fans expressing confusion and even demanding refunds.
