Uzum, Uzbekistan's national digital ecosystem, has made its debut on the 2026 list of the world's top fintech companies, as compiled by CNBC in collaboration with market research firm Statista. The Tashkent-based company was specifically recognized within the "Neobanking" category.

The global ranking by CNBC and Statista is a significant benchmark in the financial technology sector, identifying companies that are transforming financial services through technology, innovation, and scalable digital solutions. The "Neobanking" classification includes digital financial service providers that operate primarily through digital channels, eschewing traditional branch networks.

Uzum's inclusion signifies a growing trust from millions of users in its digital financial solutions. The company's integrated digital ecosystem allows users in Uzbekistan to manage daily payments, shopping, personal finances, and access banking services seamlessly online. This approach has already led to over six million users adopting Uzum Bank cards as a natural part of their daily interactions with the ecosystem.
