Vaccentis and TrueMed sign agreement to advance cancer vaccine
Swiss biotech firm Vaccentis and Israeli commercialization partner TrueMed have entered into a letter of intent to accelerate the development and market access of VCC-001, a therapeutic cancer vaccine for renal cell carcinoma.

Zurich-based biotech company Vaccentis has signed a letter of intent with TrueMed, an Israeli commercialization partner, to advance the development and strategic operations of its lead vaccine candidate, VCC-001. The collaboration will focus on accelerating the progress of VCC-001, an individualized therapeutic vaccine aimed at the adjuvant treatment of renal cell carcinoma, and its underlying platform technology.
Under the agreement, TrueMed will provide Vaccentis with its existing infrastructure and support in identifying further strategic partnerships. Vaccentis has granted TrueMed exclusive rights for the commercialization, sale, and distribution of VCC-001 and future pipeline candidates within Israel for the duration of the agreement. The companies expect this partnership to significantly advance the next milestones for VCC-001 by combining Vaccentis' research expertise with TrueMed's capabilities in business development, investor relations, and strategic alliances.
Vaccentis specializes in developing individualized therapeutic cancer vaccines derived from a patient's own tumor, with anticipated regulatory approvals in the EU and USA in the coming years. TrueMed is a recognized commercialization partner for rare disease and specialty care therapies in Israel, offering comprehensive solutions for global innovators.
Leadership from both companies expressed confidence in the partnership's potential. They highlighted TrueMed's experience and extensive network within the health-related financial community as critical for expediting the vaccine's development and ensuring it reaches patients promptly.
