Furthermore, the annual ore processing capacity is slated for an increase of 6 million tons. The project's commencement has been brought forward to the first half of 2028, with construction permits already secured.
The Salobo mine, located in Brazil, is recognized as one of the world's largest copper and gold producing sites. The CPF technology allows for the processing of larger mineral particles, thereby improving metal recovery rates.
