Valmet to Deliver Board Making Line to Sun Paper in China
Valmet has secured an order to deliver a complete board making line, including automation and lifecycle support, to Sun Paper's mill in Nanning, China. The investment aims to increase containerboard capacity and ensure energy- and resource-efficient production.
Valmet will supply a full board making line, complete with automation and lifecycle support, to Sun Paper for its mill located in Nanning, China. The order involves a high-capacity machine concept designed to enhance Sun Paper's production capabilities for containerboard.
The company stated that the investment is intended to guarantee reliable and efficient operation regarding energy and resources for the board making line. Valmet's supplied solutions are expected to support Sun Paper's objectives for stable and energy-efficient manufacturing.
Start-up of the new line is scheduled for the fall of 2027. Both Valmet and Sun Paper have prioritized advanced technologies to optimize the machine's performance and overall efficiency.
