Espoo, Finland – Valmet has received an order from Anhui Linping Circular Development in China for a complete board making line, including automation and lifecycle support. The new line, designated PM 9, is designed for the efficient production of lightweight fluting and liner grades.
The investment by Anhui Linping aims to expand its product portfolio while enhancing resource efficiency and reducing environmental impact. The new board machine will be installed at the customer's mill in Xiao County, China. Start-up of PM 9 is planned for 2028.
This order signifies a continued partnership, as Valmet previously supplied a board making line, PM 8, to the same customer in 2024.
