Vantage updates V-Card payment services for CFD traders
Vantage Markets has expanded its V-Card features, allowing eligible users to access their digital wallet funds for everyday consumer transactions.
Multi-asset broker Vantage Markets has updated its V-Card service to integrate CFD trading accounts with everyday retail spending. The update allows eligible clients to utilize funds from their V-Wallet for purchases at merchants that accept the supported card network.
This development follows the initial launch of a virtual card for traders in May. To manage the service, Vantage has partnered with Thredd to handle payment processing, fraud risk management, and identity authentication. Clients can access management tools and card details through the official Vantage application, with mobile wallet integration like Apple Pay and Google Pay available in specific markets.
The service remains subject to regional regulations, issuer requirements, and eligibility criteria. Vantage clarified that the V-Card is intended for consumer purchases and is strictly prohibited from being used to fund margin, leverage, or derivative trading. Users should review applicable currency conversion and cross-border transaction fees before usage.
