VAP Group has announced the establishment of VAP Ventures, an investment arm dedicated to identifying and supporting 100 startups by the year 2030. The initiative will focus on companies operating within the artificial intelligence, Web3, blockchain, and digital gaming sectors.
This move signifies VAP Group's transition from facilitating innovation platforms to directly investing in and nurturing emerging technology companies. The venture aims to build the next generation of high-impact startups by providing more than just capital.
Selected startups will receive a blend of direct funding alongside access to VAP Group's extensive media ecosystem, marketing capabilities, and talent networks. This holistic support is designed to help founders scale their early-stage ideas into robust businesses. The program aligns with Saudi Arabia's vision to foster innovation and knowledge-based industries.
Speaking at the launch, VAP Group Founder and CEO Vishal Parmar stated that the company is shifting from providing a "stage" for founders to actively backing them. Startup applications for VAP Ventures are now open, with the company seeking to build its inaugural cohort.
