Vartis Platforms enters SME lending market with UdhaarSaathi
LenDenClub parent Vartis Platforms has launched UdhaarSaathi, a digital marketplace providing unsecured business loans to small retailers.
Vartis Platforms has officially launched UdhaarSaathi, a loan marketplace targeting small businesses such as pharmacies and kirana stores. The platform facilitates unsecured loans ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹2.5 lakh. The company aims to process ₹1,000 crore in loan disbursements through the new channel by the end of FY27.
As a lending service provider, UdhaarSaathi uses transactional data to assist non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) in credit assessments. Vartis does not assume credit risk itself, instead generating revenue through transaction processing fees. This launch marks an expansion of the company’s portfolio, which previously focused on individual emergency lending via its InstaMoney brand.
The firm is currently undergoing internal governance improvements in preparation for a potential IPO. While founder Bhavin Patel noted that the company is aiming for readiness within 12 to 18 months, no firm timeline for a listing has been set. The company reported a net profit of ₹96.2 crore for FY26, signaling strong financial momentum.
