Swedish property company Vasakronan has published its interim report for the first six months of 2026. The company's rental revenues amounted to SEK 4,716 million, a slight increase from SEK 4,669 million in the same period last year. In comparable property holdings, rental revenue remained unchanged.

New leases contracted during the period corresponded to 63,000 square metres with an annual rent of SEK 390 million. This compares to 76,000 square metres and an annual rent of SEK 315 million contracted in the previous year. Net lettings were negative SEK 69 million, compared to negative SEK 43 million.

The occupancy rate for the total portfolio stood at 87.2%, a decrease of 0.50 percentage points compared to the end of 2025. The operating surplus, a measure of profit from property operations before interest and tax, amounted to SEK 3,420 million, marginally down from SEK 3,424 million in the prior year. For comparable property holdings, the operating surplus was unchanged.

The report indicates a steady operational performance for Vasakronan, despite a slight decline in occupancy and negative net lettings during the reporting period. The company continues to manage its property portfolio through a fluctuating market.
