Västtrafik Orders 35 Additional Avelia Stream Nordic Trains from Alstom

Transport operator Västtrafik has placed an order for 35 more Avelia Stream Nordic trains from Alstom, exercising an option valued at approximately €350 million. This latest order will bring Västtrafik's total fleet of these regional trains to 80 units.

The Avelia Stream Nordic trains are designed to operate effectively in harsh Nordic conditions, capable of withstanding up to 80 cm of snow and temperatures as low as -40°C.
