Veidekke and OBOS to Develop Residential Project in Bergen
Veidekke and OBOS have formed a 50/50 partnership to develop the Kristiansholm residential project in Bergen. The development will comprise approximately 380 homes on a former commercial site.

Construction company Veidekke and housing developer OBOS have entered into an agreement to establish a 50/50 partnership for the Kristiansholm residential development project in Bergen's Sandviken district.
The companies will jointly own the project, with Veidekke set to act as the design and build contractor. Kristiansholm is a significant urban development initiative that will transform a former commercial area into a new residential neighbourhood. Approximately 380 homes are planned for the site, with the project to be carried out in multiple phases.
The first sales launch is anticipated for 2027, and the overall completion of the project is scheduled for a later date. This collaboration signifies a substantial undertaking for both companies in the Bergen housing market.
The development aims to address housing demand in Bergen, a growing urban center. The project's location in Sandviken is expected to offer residents convenient access to transportation and local amenities.
