Veidekke signs NOK 520 million contract for NTNU campus development
Veidekke has signed an execution agreement with Statsbygg for the "Resonans" project in Trondheim. The contract is valued at approximately NOK 520 million, excluding VAT.

Construction company Veidekke has signed an execution agreement with Statsbygg, the Norwegian state's property developer, for the construction of the "Resonans" project (P4 Music) as part of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) campus development in Trondheim. The project involves building a new facility for music education.
The contract is valued at approximately NOK 520 million (roughly USD 49 million) before value-added tax. The project will be delivered using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPL) model, involving client Statsbygg, contractor Veidekke, and design partner Norconsult. The signing of this agreement marks the transition of the project from its development phase into the execution phase.
The "Resonans" project is part of a broader initiative to modernize and consolidate NTNU's campus facilities in central Trondheim, aiming to create a more functional and collaborative environment for education and research. This contract is significant for Veidekke, reinforcing its role in major public construction projects in Norway.
Construction is expected to commence shortly following the agreement. The IPL approach is designed to streamline project execution through close collaboration among all stakeholders from the initial stages.
