Veidekke to Construct 51 Apartments in Arendal

Construction company Veidekke has been awarded a contract to build 51 apartments as part of the fourth phase of the Bryggebyen urban development project in Arendal, Norway. The contract was awarded by Vindholmen Eiendom AS.
The design and build contract is valued at approximately NOK 190 million (approximately EUR 17 million) before VAT. Bryggebyen is a significant urban renewal initiative in Arendal, originally launched by Arendals Fossekompani. This contract marks Veidekke's first involvement in the project.
Construction is expected to commence shortly. The project aims to revitalize Arendal's waterfront area by increasing housing supply and amenities. Bryggebyen is considered one of the city's key development areas.
