Vensure Employer Solutions has introduced a managed background casting service, aiming to centralize workforce logistics for film and television productions.
HR technology provider Vensure Employer Solutions has launched Vensure Casting, a service dedicated to managing background talent for the film and television industries. Operating under the company's Sports & Entertainment division, the service is designed to address the operational complexities of staffing and scheduling in fast-paced production environments.
Industry casting often relies on a network of regional agencies and manual coordination, which can lead to communication gaps and inconsistent staffing outcomes. Vensure aims to replace this fragmented approach with a centralized model, acting as a single point of accountability for production companies from the planning stage through to shoot day.
The new division is led by industry veterans Lee Genick and Hunter Lydon, both of whom have experience across major film and television projects. Vensure CEO Alex Campos stated that the initiative is intended to reduce operational risk, allowing production teams to focus on content creation rather than staffing logistics.
This expansion follows Vensure’s broader strategy for its Sports & Entertainment division, which currently provides payroll, compliance, and HR management services for the entertainment and live events sector. The addition of casting services marks a further move to integrate HR and workforce management into film production workflows.
