Nordea has played a significant role as a financial partner in Verda's expansion. The company has utilized a combination of funding methods, including initial capital, venture capital, and bank loans. Founded in 2020, Verda, formerly known as DataCrunch, has experienced rapid growth. The idea for the company emerged from a machine learning meetup in Helsinki. In 2025, Verda secured 55 million euros in a Series A funding round to support its expansion and positioning in the European market.
