Verda and Compal expand global AI infrastructure collaboration

Verda and Compal Electronics have announced an expansion of their strategic collaboration to support the growth of Verda's global AI infrastructure. The companies are highlighting their joint efforts at GTC Berlin 2026, focusing on scaling cloud-based AI services through increased server production.

The collaboration centers on the deployment of Compal’s SGX30-2 server, which utilizes Nvidia’s HGX B300 systems featuring Blackwell Ultra GPUs. To facilitate international growth, Compal is expanding manufacturing capabilities at its Daxi facility in Taiwan and in the United States, aiming to shorten lead times for regional infrastructure rollouts in Europe and Asia.

"Our collaboration with Compal allows us to scale operations rapidly," said Arturs Polis, CTO of Verda. Compal executive Alan Chang noted that the move is designed to transition AI infrastructure from rapid innovation to large-scale deployment by aligning engineering expertise with operational scale.
