Verdera Energy Sells Treeline Uranium Project in New Mexico
Verdera Energy Corp. has finalized the sale of its 100% stake in the Treeline Uranium Project in New Mexico to Americas Uranium Corp. The transaction includes cash, shares, and a retained royalty.

Verdera Energy Corp. announced on September 24, 2026, that it has completed the sale of its 100% interest in the Treeline Uranium Project in New Mexico to Americas Uranium Corp. The transaction involved an initial cash payment of US$100,000 and the transfer of 701,754 shares of Americas Uranium, valued at C$200,000. Verdera Energy is also set to receive an additional C$1.8 million in Americas Uranium shares over the next 36 months.
As part of the agreement, Verdera Energy will retain a 1.5% net proceeds royalty on uranium and a 1.5% net smelter returns royalty on other minerals produced from the Treeline Project. Americas Uranium has the option to reduce this royalty to 1.0% by paying Verdera Energy C$400,000.
Janet Lee-Sheriff, CEO of Verdera Energy, stated that the sale demonstrates the value within the company's New Mexico database. She indicated that the company has converted a non-core exploration asset into cash, an equity position, and a retained royalty, allowing Verdera Energy to focus its team and capital on advancing its four large-scale ISR uranium properties.
Verdera Energy is focused on developing In-Situ Recovery (ISR) uranium assets in New Mexico, aiming to meet the growing demand for domestic uranium.
