Verisure Expands Roll-out of AI-Powered GuardVision Outdoor Video Detector
Verisure is expanding the international availability of its AI-powered GuardVision® Outdoor video detector to more countries. The device detects threats outside the home and helps prevent intrusion attempts.
Verisure, a provider of professionally monitored security services, is extending the international rollout of its AI-powered GuardVision® Outdoor video detector. The device is now available in 12 countries and is designed to extend home protection to outdoor areas like gardens.
New data from several of Verisure's major markets indicates that outdoor security solutions can help prevent more than half of detected intrusion attempts. GuardVision® Outdoor is the first EN50131 Grade 2-certified device with embedded Computer Vision AI. It integrates with the Verisure home alarm system to detect early threats outside the property.
The device offers day and night protection using HD video, infrared imaging, two-way audio, and AI. The AI distinguishes human triggers from other sources, enhancing verification and response from Verisure's professional 24/7 alarm receiving center. Verisure CEO Austin Lally emphasized the company's combination of AI, deep security expertise, and professional monitoring for comprehensive protection.
Verisure is investing approximately €170 million in innovation and technology development for 2025. AI is integrated across the company's products and services, improving detection accuracy and response times. The GuardVision® Outdoor detector is part of this broader effort to enhance home security.
