Vertafore Unveils Agentic Agency Vision to Accelerate Distribution Velocity
Insurance technology firm Vertafore has introduced its Agentic Agency vision, employing AI agents to reduce friction in independent insurance agency workflows.
Denver, CO – Vertafore, a leader in insurance distribution technology, has launched its Agentic Agency vision aimed at accelerating the operations of independent insurance agencies through artificial intelligence. The vision introduces four AI agents designed to decrease workflow friction and free up agency staff for client relationships and business growth.
According to Vertafore, too much of an agency's capacity is currently consumed by operational drag, including transferring data between systems, searching for documents, and re-keying information. The Agentic Agency seeks to eliminate this friction by embedding AI into existing workflows, spanning sales, submissions, customer service, accounting, and reporting.
The new Velocity AI agents are specifically designed to streamline document processing, quote preparation, customer service tasks, and accounting functions. For instance, the Velocity Document Intelligence Agent can reduce document review time by up to 90%, and the Velocity Policy Intake Agent can speed up policy processing by up to 87%.
The company states that these AI agents will handle routine tasks, allowing insurance professionals to concentrate on more complex activities requiring expertise and client relationship building. The new agents are currently undergoing early adopter testing and are scheduled for general availability later this year.
