Vertiv Agrees to Acquire King Environmental Services to Expand EMEA Fluid Management
Vertiv Holdings Co has announced an agreement to acquire King Environmental Services Ltd. (KES), a European provider of fluid management services, expanding its capabilities into the EMEA region.
Columbus, Ohio – Vertiv Holdings Co (NYSE: VRT) has entered into an agreement to acquire King Environmental Services Ltd. (KES), a European provider of fluid management, commissioning, and load-testing services for high-density, liquid-cooled data centers.
The acquisition is expected to extend Vertiv's global thermal management services into Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). KES brings specialized capabilities in fluid management, commissioning, and load testing, covering system preparation, performance validation, monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle optimization.
This transaction builds on Vertiv's existing North American fluid management presence, including its 2025 acquisition of PurgeRite. The goal is to provide more comprehensive support for customers deploying and operating complex AI and high-density infrastructures. CEO Gio Albertazzi emphasized the increasing importance of field execution for performance as computing density rises.
KES has established a strong reputation in Europe through its technical specialization, experienced field teams, and operational infrastructure. The company offers services including flushing, filtration, water treatment, commissioning, and performance validation of fluid systems. KES also performs thermal load testing for liquid cooling infrastructure and electrical load testing for critical power systems.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed and are not expected to be material to Vertiv's financial results.
