VET Energy Produces Silicon Carbide-Coated Graphite Components

Ningbo VET Energy Technology Co., Ltd, based in China, has announced the production of graphite components coated with silicon carbide (SiC). These components are specifically designed for use in the semiconductor and photovoltaic manufacturing sectors.

The SiC coating on a graphite substrate enhances durability and performance in demanding environments, particularly those involving high temperatures and oxidizing conditions, which are common in advanced manufacturing processes.

According to the company, these products offer excellent thermal and physical shock resistance, alongside strong chemical resistance. The high purity of the materials and the capability to produce complex shapes make them suitable for precision-critical applications.

VET Energy provides these components with varying coating thicknesses and can accommodate large-sized parts. The base graphite material exhibits properties such as a density of 1.85 g/cm³ and an electrical resistivity of 11 µΩm.

The company previously engaged with CE-certified products and now offers these customized solutions for high-tech industries, emphasizing precision and material resilience in challenging operational scenarios.
