Chinese tech company VGN has commenced sales for its F2 Turbo+ wireless lightweight mouse, offering it at an introductory price of 319 yuan. The device is powered by the Nordic 54LM20 main controller and equipped with a PixArt PAW 3955 Extreme sensor capable of up to 50,000 DPI.
The mouse weighs a mere 51±3 grams and features a symmetrical, ambidextrous design. Developed in collaboration with professional gamers over two years, it boasts a low-profile front and a slightly wider rear for quick, precise control. The design aims to facilitate rapid clicking and swift maneuvers, crucial for competitive gaming. The mouse supports native dual 8K polling rates for both wired and wireless connections, with an 8K receiver included.
Key internal components include Kaihua optical micro-switches rated for 160 million clicks, offering increased durability over traditional switches. An alternative version with Omron mechanical switches is also available. The scroll wheel utilizes a TTC dust-proof encoder with a custom metal finish. VGN's V-Charge fast charging protocol is integrated, allowing for ten hours of use after just one minute of charging, supported by a 500mAh battery.
For software and customization, the F2 Turbo+ uses the self-developed V HUB 3.0 driver, accessible via web or Windows client. This allows for button remapping, DPI adjustments, and polling rate configurations to be stored onboard. VGN suggests a high-end PC configuration for optimal 8K performance, including at least an Intel i7 9700k or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor and an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD RX5700 XT equivalent graphics card.
