Chinese technology firm VGN has unveiled details of its new Dragonfly 3 Mini computer mouse, which sports an entirely new mold designed for a more compact and lightweight build. The company announced that the new mouse will be available for purchase starting October 30.
The Dragonfly 3 Mini expands VGN's existing Dragonfly 3 series, which was initially released in January. The original lineup includes various versions such as SE, Pro, Pro Max, Master, and Master+, with prices ranging from 99 to 299 Chinese yuan. These previous models share a common chassis size of 122.4 x 65.1 x 38.3mm and support triple-mode connectivity.
Specific technical details for the new Dragonfly 3 Mini have not yet been fully disclosed. Previous iterations in the series have featured sensors like the PAW3311 or PAW3395, polling rates up to 8KHz, and a weight of approximately 58 grams. Different versions also offer variations in switch types and battery capacities, with the Master+ model including a 500 mAh battery with fast charging support.
The introduction of the Dragonfly 3 Mini is part of VGN's strategy to offer a diverse range of input devices. The company aims to provide products that cater to user preferences for both performance and portability in the computing accessory market.
