VIAVI Unveils Compact Platform for 100G Enterprise Network Testing

CHANDLER, Ariz. – VIAVI Solutions announced the CyberFlood CF50, a new test platform designed for enterprise-scale application performance, security, and AI inference testing at 100 gigabits per second. The company states it is the industry's smallest and lightest all-in-one solution, also supporting large language model testing.

The platform aims to address the increasing need to validate network environments that use encrypted applications, Zero Trust architectures, and AI-driven services. The CyberFlood CF50 can generate realistic encrypted and mixed application traffic, helping organizations assess performance, scalability, and user experience before deployment.

The compact 1U appliance combines Layer 4-7 traffic generation, security assessment, and AI inference testing. VIAVI claims the device offers the industry's lowest power consumption and highest TLS performance, with native support for post-quantum cryptography. The hardware is intended for network equipment manufacturers, systems integrators, and service providers.

Mauricio Sanchez, Senior Director at Dell'Oro Group, highlighted that with the rise of AI workloads and complex security architectures, validating performance under realistic conditions is becoming critical.
