Vibe Technology debuts AI-powered wearable for memory preservation
Shanghai-based Vibe Technology has introduced Souvi, a wearable device that uses artificial intelligence to curate and organize travel experiences.

Shanghai-based Vibe Technology has unveiled Souvi, an AI-enabled hardware device designed to manage personal travel memories. Unlike action cameras that prioritize raw footage, the device aims to automate the selection, editing, and organization of photos and videos into cohesive narratives, such as travel journals or curated video collections.
CEO Deng Jiawei stated that the product is intended to minimize the distraction of manual recording, allowing users to focus on the moment while the AI handles the curation process. The company is utilizing a software-first development approach, fine-tuning open-source models to identify visually significant moments rather than merely maximizing the volume of recorded content.
The venture faces significant questions regarding long-term user adoption and data privacy. While Vibe Technology plans to expand into Japan, South Korea, and North America—potentially through crowdfunding—it has yet to provide data on user retention or purchase intent. The company must prove that its AI-driven organization offers tangible value over existing smartphone gallery tools.
