Paradox Interactive will release a new expansion for its grand strategy game Victoria 3 next month, titled "State and Revolution." The downloadable content focuses on the historical period of 19th-century Russia, a time of significant upheaval for the Tsarist autocracy.

Players will assume the role of Russian leadership during this era, navigating internal pressures from new political ideologies, technological advancements, and rising nationalist sentiments. The expansion aims to simulate the challenges faced by the Romanov dynasty as they attempted to modernize and maintain control over a vast and complex empire.
