Viessmann Condensing Gas Boilers Integrated with Mijia App
Viessmann's condensing gas boilers are now integrated with Xiaomi's Mijia App, enabling remote control and voice commands.
Viessmann, a German manufacturer of heating, cooling, and air conditioning systems, has integrated its condensing gas boilers with Xiaomi's Mijia App. This integration allows users to connect their Viessmann boilers to the smart home ecosystem.
The new integration enables users to remotely turn boilers on and off, adjust settings, and control temperature through the Mijia App. Additionally, the boilers support voice control via Xiaomi's "Super Xiao Ai" assistant, allowing for hands-free operation.
This connectivity leverages Xiaomi's "Pengpai Smart Connect" technology, designed for cross-device integration within Xiaomi's ecosystem. The setup involves adding the device in the Mijia App and linking it to Viessmann's "Viessmann Connect" service via account authorization.
Founded in 1917, Viessmann specializes in heating solutions. Parts of Viessmann's business, particularly its climate solutions division, have recently been acquired by Carrier Global Corporation.
