ViewLift and FISU Expand Digital Partnership for Global University Sports

LAUSANNE, Switzerland and NEW YORK, Oct. 15, 2026 – ViewLift, a DAZN company, and the International University Sports Federation (FISU) have announced an expansion of their technology alliance. The partnership aims to empower the global university sports movement with enhanced digital resources ahead of the 2027 Universiade season.

ViewLift is joining forces with Bornan Sports Technology, FISU's digital data and technology partner. Their integrated digital platform will combine streaming services, AI-driven content management, and event technology infrastructure. This solution is intended for FISU’s university athletes, 167 National University Sports Federations, and their global audience.

As part of the expanded alliance, FISU and the university sports movement will utilize ViewLift’s direct-to-consumer streaming and content platform. This will be integrated with Bornan’s existing infrastructure for competition management, timing, scoring, and results, adding a fan-oriented streaming layer. This integration aims to create a more connected workflow from live event data and broadcast production to content distribution and streaming.

An initial launch was successfully tested in June 2026 during select FISU events, with new features currently being incorporated. The full platform launch is scheduled for January 2027, in time to support the Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade in China.
