Viking Line and FlixBus Launch Combined Sea and Coach Travel
Viking Line and coach operator FlixBus have partnered to offer combined sea and coach journeys, allowing customers to book seamless trips across Europe, Finland, Sweden, and Estonia in a single booking.
Starting in October, travelers will be able to book integrated sea and coach journeys through a new partnership between Viking Line and FlixBus. This collaboration connects Viking Line's Baltic Sea routes with FlixBus's extensive European coach network, enabling passengers to arrange complex trips across multiple countries with a single reservation.
The initial phase of the partnership will include all Viking Line departures between Helsinki and Tallinn, along with morning departures connecting Stockholm and Turku. This aims to provide a more convenient travel solution for passengers connecting to or from ferry routes.
FlixBus is a major European coach provider operating in over 30 countries, while Viking Line is a prominent shipping company on the Baltic Sea. The partnership is expected to enhance travel convenience and potentially open up new markets for both companies by offering more comprehensive travel options.
Customers will be able to plan and book their combined ferry and bus journeys through a unified booking system, simplifying the process for international travel.
