Vincente Connolly appointed Managing Director at Scania East Africa

Scania East Africa has appointed Vincente Connolly as its new Managing Director, effective immediately. Connolly will lead the company's operations within the East Africa business unit, encompassing Kenya and Tanzania, while also supporting activities in Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia.

Connolly joins from Scania UK, where he served as Sales Director for four years. Prior to this role, he held significant positions within the automotive industry, including a long tenure with the Daimler organisation in the UK. His background includes extensive experience in sales, services, and telematics.

In his new position, Connolly plans to focus on developing the East Africa team and enhancing the customer experience. He emphasizes the importance of building trust and delivering value to Scania's customer base in the region.

Connolly also highlighted the company's commitment to promoting environmentally friendly transport solutions. He aims to work with customers to implement cleaner technologies and powertrains, balancing business success with environmental responsibility for future generations.
