VINCI Energies acquires Rhön-Montage Group to expand broadband network construction in Germany
VINCI Energies has acquired Rhön-Montage Group, a German provider of broadband infrastructure services. The acquisition significantly strengthens VINCI Energies' capacity for building high-speed internet networks across Germany.

VINCI Energies has acquired Rhön-Montage Group, a key German service provider for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband infrastructure. The deal, announced in Frankfurt in September 2022, aims to bolster VINCI Energies' nationwide capabilities in deploying high-speed internet networks.
Founded in 1970, Rhön-Montage Group specializes in the planning, installation, and maintenance of telecommunication networks. The company serves major telecom network operators in several German metropolitan areas and had approximately 400 employees with a turnover of 72 million euros in 2021.
Through its Axians business units, VINCI Energies focuses on digital transformation services. In Germany, Axians reported a turnover of 479 million euros in 2021 with 1,900 employees. This acquisition enhances VINCI Energies' ability to undertake large-scale projects and offer end-to-end solutions for fiber optic network deployment.
The merger is expected to accelerate the expansion of Germany's broadband infrastructure, meeting the growing demand for fast and reliable internet connectivity. By integrating Rhön-Montage's expertise and geographic reach, VINCI Energies aims to be a leading provider in this crucial sector.
