VINCI Energies Acquires SAP Specialist Lynx

Frankfurt am Main – VINCI Energies, the energy and information and communication technology division of VINCI, is strengthening its consulting expertise in the German market with the acquisition of SAP specialist Lynx-Consulting. The company will become part of the Axians brand.

Lynx-Consulting, based in Bielefeld with branches in Düsseldorf and Bocholt, specializes in IT management consulting with a focus on SAP. The acquisition, announced on March 14, 2019, aims to expand Axians' portfolio in the digitalization of business processes. Lynx-Consulting's clients include prominent medium-sized enterprises and international corporations in sectors such as retail, consumer goods, and mechanical and plant engineering.

With over 30 years of experience and more than 300 completed digitalization projects, including implementations of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Fiori, Lynx-Consulting brings significant expertise. Axians views the acquisition as a means to better support clients in designing IT process strategies, particularly in the early stages of projects. Lynx-Consulting will continue to be led by Michael Loth, who has been responsible for the company's business development for over seven years.

According to VINCI Energies, SAP systems are critical for companies' core operations. By integrating Lynx-Consulting's capabilities in application management and process strategies, Axians positions itself as a leading SAP specialist in Germany. Existing Lynx-Consulting clients are also expected to benefit from access to the broader VINCI Energies resources, including collaborations with other brands like Actemium for electrical and automation technology.
