Vinitaly Kazakhstan Roadshow Focuses on Italian Wine Exports
The Vinitaly Kazakhstan Roadshow in Almaty attracted 500 industry professionals and 68 Italian wineries. This event was held for the third consecutive year.

Vinitaly, the Italian wine exhibition organizer, held its third Kazakhstan Roadshow in Almaty on June 29, 2026. The event convened 500 industry professionals, featured 68 Italian wineries, and showcased 288 wine labels.
Organized in partnership with ITA - the Italian Trade Agency, the roadshow highlights Italy's increasing focus on expanding wine exports to Eastern markets. Kazakhstan has emerged as a significant destination for Italian wines in recent years, reflecting a strategic shift towards growth regions.
The Italian wine sector is actively pursuing diversification of its export base beyond traditional European and North American markets. Kazakhstan's potential as a market supports this objective, with Vinitaly playing a key role in promoting Italian wines and facilitating new distribution channels.
The scale of the event and participant turnout suggest a growing demand for Italian wines within Kazakhstan. Organizers anticipate that such roadshow events will become increasingly important for accessing and developing new markets.
