Virax Biolabs Signs Southeast Asia Supply Deal with Fosun Diagnostics
Virax Biolabs announced a multi-country commercial supply agreement with Fosun Diagnostics for its ImmuneSelect research-use products across Southeast Asia. The deal supports near-term revenue and regional market expansion.
Biotechnology company Virax Biolabs announced on July 9, 2026, that its subsidiary Virax Biolabs (UK) Limited has entered into an exclusive supply agreement with Fosun Diagnostics. The deal covers Virax's ImmuneSelect product line, intended for research use, in six Southeast Asian markets: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia.
The agreement provides a framework for immediate product supply based on purchase orders. This is expected to generate near-term revenue and facilitate the company's commercial expansion within the region. ImmuneSelect is distinct from Virax's in-development diagnostic platform, ViraxImmune.
Virax considers this agreement a significant commercial achievement for its ImmuneSelect platform, granting access to key Southeast Asian markets through a well-established regional diagnostics partner. The framework is designed to support gradual market expansion, potentially including additional product offerings and higher volume supply arrangements, as well as OEM or private-label opportunities.
Fosun Diagnostics is part of Fosun Medtech, a division of Fosun Pharma, a global healthcare group with extensive operations. Fosun Pharma reported revenues of approximately US$5.8 billion in 2025. The partnership with Fosun Diagnostics is seen by Virax as a strategic move to leverage an established commercial network for ImmuneSelect's growth across the ASEAN region, with an initial focus on tuberculosis-related research applications in Thailand.
