Virtusa has unveiled its Triple-R methodology, a framework for migrating Pega applications from on-premises setups to Pega Cloud operating on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The methodology, which stands for Recon (identify), Refactor (restructure), and Re-platform, is intended to address the technical debt accumulated from using older Pega versions. This debt can hinder developer productivity and limit the adoption of Pega's latest features.
With over two decades of experience with Pega, Virtusa states that their approach allows for the management and execution of upgrade and cloud migration projects within short timelines, often requested by clients. The company emphasizes that the method enhances application performance during the upgrade to the latest platform release.
The new methodology targets organizations struggling with the maintenance and development of legacy Pega applications. Virtusa offers this solution as part of its AWS Partner Network (APN) collaboration.
