Vishal Advani Inducted as Associate Fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry
Elk Grove Village-based dentist Vishal Advani has been inducted as an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, recognized for his 15 years of experience in dental implants.
Elk Grove Village, Ill. – Dentist Vishal Advani, founder of Advani Implant Institute and Elk Grove Smile Center, was inducted as an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) on October 3, 2026. This credential is awarded to dentists who pass the Academy's written and oral examinations in implant dentistry and complete at least 300 hours of post-doctoral continuing education in the field.
Dr. Advani has 15 years of experience in implant dentistry and has placed over 2,000 implants. His practice specializes in All-on-X full-arch implant surgery using IV sedation, including advanced techniques for patients who have been told they lack sufficient bone for conventional treatments.
"Most of the patients I see for full-arch surgery have been struggling with their teeth for years, and many have been told nothing more can be done," Dr. Advani stated. "This fellowship holds me to a standard I want to be held to. Those patients deserve a surgeon who keeps being tested, and the dentists I teach deserve an instructor who is too."
Through Advani Implant Institute, Dr. Advani also trains other dentists in advanced implant surgery across Illinois. He earned his DDS from Columbia University and has practiced in Elk Grove Village since 2012.
