Vision Marine Technologies Announces Reverse Stock Split
Vision Marine Technologies announced on August 24, 2026, that its board of directors approved a 1-for-10 reverse stock split of its common shares. The split aims to meet NASDAQ listing requirements.

Vision Marine Technologies Inc. will implement a 1-for-10 reverse stock split, the company announced Tuesday. The consolidation of shares is intended to help the company comply with NASDAQ listing standards, which require a minimum bid price.
The reverse stock split, where ten existing shares will be combined into one new share, is effective after market close on August 25, 2026, and will begin trading on a split-adjusted basis on August 26, 2026. The company hopes this move will raise its stock price and maintain its listing on the NASDAQ Stock Market.
Vision Marine stated that the reverse split will not alter the proportionate ownership percentages of shareholders. However, shareholders holding fewer than ten shares before the split will have their holdings rounded up to the nearest whole number of shares. Any fractional shares resulting from the split will be rounded up to the nearest whole share.
The company, focused on the development and manufacturing of electric boats, believes the reverse stock split will support its long-term growth strategy and improve the stock's liquidity.
