Vision Marine Technologies Inc. has agreed to sell its property at 1400 S. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as part of a broader initiative to optimize its Florida real estate and operations. The company also provided an update on pending transactions for its 1440 S. Federal property and a Palm City location. Collectively, these pending sales are expected to generate approximately $13.1 million in gross proceeds and an estimated $5.6 million in net equity.
The strategic moves follow the consolidation of key office, retail, marina, and service functions into Vision Marine's integrated waterfront operating platform in Dania Beach and Fort Lauderdale. This platform now supports direct customer engagement, including sales, service, logistics, and deliveries for its E-Motion™ technology and recreational boats.
Management anticipates that the overall Florida operating optimization initiative could reduce annualized site-related operating expenses by approximately $3.5 million, before transition costs. This reduction represents about 18.2% of the company's annualized operating expenses based on recent data.
