Visiting Angels Sets $1 Million+ Fundraising Goal for 2026 Alzheimer's Walk
In-home care provider Visiting Angels has set a fundraising goal of over $1 million for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer's, marking the company's 16th year of support for the Alzheimer's Association.
BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Visiting Angels, a provider of in-home care services, has announced a fundraising target exceeding $1 million for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer's. This initiative continues the company's 16-year commitment to supporting the Alzheimer's Association.
Over the past 15 years, Visiting Angels has raised more than $5.3 million through its participation in the Walk to End Alzheimer's events. Thousands of employees from the company's hundreds of nationwide locations have contributed to these fundraising efforts.
"This is one of the most important initiatives we undertake annually," stated Scott Parrish, President of Visiting Angels. "Our caregivers regularly work with individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, making this a cause that is very close to our hearts. Witnessing the daily impact of Alzheimer's on individuals and their families motivates our team to contribute."
Visiting Angels has consistently ranked among the top 10 corporate fundraisers for the Walk to End Alzheimer's for the past six years. In the previous year, the company raised $448,000, with Founder and CEO Larry Meigs contributing an additional $500,000, totaling $948,000. This year's goal of over $1 million includes a repeat of Meigs' personal $500,000 donation.
